Grape variety: Pinot Grigio

Description: Agata is lovely refined white, offering up a more complex and viscous character than one typically experiences with Pinot Grigio. Aromas of nectarine and golden apple, with more subtle floral and herbal characters underpinning. Fruity and rounded on the palate, fleshy white fruits like pear and melon give way to citrus curd characters, a gentle acidity and minerality lifting the mid-palate while revealing secondary notes of stone fruits, honeysuckle and orange blossom.

Agata, given its fresh and fruity character is a nice accompaniment to dishes with a sweet aspect,for instance, prosciutto crudo served with melon or fig. It is also an excellent pairing with more delicate or complex foods; salads, fish, seafood and chicken dishes as well as dishes like vegetable-based lasagna and duck ragu tagliatelle

About the Producer: Located in the Moraine Hills of Lake Garda, Benazzoli is the story of four generations of dedication and passion. Their wines are true expressions of their terroir and the fourth generation makers, Claudia Benazzoli (Oenologist) and Giulia Benazzoli (Viticulturalist).

They do not describe their wines as made for women, but made by women; strong, gentle, feminine, sensual, and passionate. The Benazzoli sisters are the first generation to bottle their wines under their own name in touch with the process from the soil and vines to the packaging and marketing.
